As part of the complete renovation of a mas in Vaison-la-Romaine, KDM Menuiserie supplied and installed the new exterior aluminum windows and doors.
The project combined the traditional character of the stone building with more contemporary openings, with the objective of bringing in more natural light, comfort, and transparency while respecting the architecture of the mas.
The new windows and doors were custom-made following precise measurements taken on site, an essential step when renovating an old building.
The aluminum profiles and their understated color blend naturally with the exposed stone façades, creating a balance between the authenticity of the Provençal mas and more contemporary lines.
The project notably includes several large aluminum sliding glass doors, creating wide openings between the interior spaces and the garden.
The slim profiles and generous glazed surfaces allow more natural light to enter and make it possible to fully enjoy the outdoor environment while maintaining understated architecture.
KDM Menuiserie also supplied and installed a glazed aluminum entrance door, with a transom and horizontal crossbars.
Its contemporary design echoes the lines of the other windows and doors in the project and integrates directly into the stone wall surround.
